This year, we had the pleasure of attending the Madrid Tech Show, one of the biggest technology events in Spain, held at IFEMA MADRID on 30 and 31 October. The experience was nothing short of enriching, giving us an in-depth look at the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity, big data, data centres, connectivity, eCommerce and digital marketing.
The Madrid Tech Show stands as a beacon of knowledge, a place where more than 15,000 trade visitors converge to immerse themselves in conferences, discover solutions and strategies presented by more than 400 exhibiting companies, and absorb the knowledge of more than 350 keynote speakers, executives, IT experts and industry influencers. This of course was all accompanied by case studies and success stories that provide a better understanding of how these technologies are shaping the present and the future.
Different specialized stands were organized, such as Cloud Expo Europe, Cyber Security World, Technology for Marketing and E-Show. Each of these served as a window into the strategies and effects of digital transformation on the major market-leading companies.

IBM was part of the event, unveiling some notable innovations that promise to be game changers in the technology landscape. One of the highlights was the unveiling of its generative AI platform and the evolution of its Watson data platform. IBM’s Generative AI is a remarkable breakthrough that promises to drive creativity and innovation. The session “AI for Business: Multiplying the Impact of AI” by Victoria Gomez (Head of IBM Data & AI) and Nuno Maximiano (Data & AI tech sales manager) was an enriching talk on how to leverage AI innovation to drive business performance.
